This is an early 60s era skirt suit made in a style associated with the “Jackie O” era

bequeathed artwork and a lot on Sherbrooke St in Montreal for the establishment of the Art Association of Montreal

tear or staining - it looks to have seen little use and was well cared for

Vintage Sequin Parrot Applique 1940s Hand Sewn Unused NOS Large cashmere I’ve posed the bra withThis is a gorgeous old hand sequined parrot appliqu that came from the remaining inventory of the workshop of a lady who had a trim and sequining business from the 1930s through to the 1960s. She supplied many of the dressmakers and couturiers located in Canada and the US. I estimate that this piece most likely dates to the 1940s due to its style and the type of sequins used. It is hand applied onto a buckram type mesh backing it is quite amazing how
